Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for Registration at TSDSI Portal for Seeking Invitation Letter for Visa Support
I.	Need for Registration at TSDSI Portal

1.	Registration with the TSDSI: Why required?	Registration at TSDSI portal helps the host / organizer i.e. TSDSI in The information pertaining to the foreign Delegates attending the meeting, required to be shared with multiple government ministries / administration for obtaining clearances, namely, “political clearance”, “security clearance” for hosting the meeting. Logistic planning, Coordination with the venue hotel for resolving rooming / accommodation issues, etc. Coordination for meeting venue arrangements to plan for adequate capacity meeting halls /breakout rooms, and other arrangements e.g. sitting, acoustics, AV set-ups, etc.

II.	Venue / Accommodation
1.	Hotels haven’t been booked using the 3gpp code	Can rebook using it and send the details so that we can connect with hotel for free cancellation of the one already done.
2.	Till which date 3gpp code can be used to avail special discounts and benefits
3.	In Case 3gpp preferential code doesn’t work	In case it doesn’t work inform us at the earliest so that we can help you in that case.
III.	Visa Support
1.	Meeting Invitation for – How does delegate receive?	Register at TSDSI portal with all the details, solicited in proforma. The system auto emails the “invitation letter”, if option is exercised. The print copy of the same is sent by post, if requested.
2.	Dual Nationality – Is mandatory to declare?	Yes, if holding nationality of more than one country.
3.	Supporting Documents for Visa Application – types?	Following 2-types of Documents, are required for visa processing. Political Clearance from MEA (Ministry of External Affairs, gov. of India) Security Clearance from MHA (Ministry of Home Affairs, gov. of India
4.	Mandatory / Optional documents for visa support?	“Political Clearance” document form MEA, is required for all the countries “Security Clearance” document from MHA is mandatorily required for PRC countries.
5.	PRC country – what does it refer?	PRC is “Prior Reference Country” PRC countries are: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Iraq, foreigner of Pakistani Origin and stateless person.
